Dominique Simpson was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and continues to reside in her native state. She attended Lee’s School of Cosmetology in Arkansas following her 2004 graduation from North Little Rock High School. After she completed the cosmetologist program, she worked as a freelance hairstylist technician for several years. Despite her passion for hairstyling, she wanted to gain new skills that would enhance her career, so she continued her education at Pulaski Technical College where she graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in Teaching.
